After years in the music business as a singer and musician, Host Don Martin found his true calling as emcee and show host for a large variety entertainment theater in Seattle. For this work, he was named Seattle's Musical Ambassador and represented the city on tourism promotions on the West Coast.
During the same period of time, Don hosted a late-night jazz show and did TV hosting work for KING Broadcasting, the local NBC affiliate. Through this experience, he was chosen as national announcer under Bob Barker for the Miss USA/Miss Universe pageants broadcasts.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1982, Don worked with Ralph Edwards Productions, garnered a Grammy nomination as bass singer with the L.A. Jazz Choir, and continued his career as special events host and studio voiceover talent.
